Stone House Kitchen - Nacogdoches

Definitely a favorite place to meet my husband or friends for a lunch date. The food is always delicious! Recently, Mr. John made a special dinner for my son and his prom date. The kids raved about all of it including the outstanding service!

Tasty lunch food with friendly service. I can't speak to their coffee but the spicy crackers they serve with the salad are really good. The staff was really nice in substituting in something else when they ran out of an item. Definitely would recommend as a nice cafe to grab lunch.

One of the best places I have been to. The food was great and I have to say the Butter Pecan Cookies are delicious! I know the owners personally and I can say hands down, they are very passionate people who loved to cook. I will be back!!

I have been looking forward to trying this place for months…maybe my expectations were too high. We ordered a Basil Pesto Grilled Cheese it was cold and the cheese was solid, the salad that accompanied the meal was fine but the dressing tasted like the package dressing from Kroger. The second item that we ordered was the BST, there was nothing in it, a few pieces of spinach and pre cooked bacon. The accompanying soup was all grease, seeming as if the sausage was cooked in the soup which made it undercooked and under seasoned and not drained first it was all I could taste. The kale in the soup was also over cooked.The French press was NOT a French press, it was a weak drip coffee poured in a carafe. This was a VERY disappointing experience.

Nice little breakfast lunch eatery. House coffee was sub par. Ordered the quiche and it was OK. It had been re heated in a microwave. Had Frittatas on the menu, but they are only available on the weekends. The broccoli cheese soup was good but a bit too salty for me.
