Garden Gate Cafe - Muscle Shoals

Really like this place! the food is delicious comfort food. There's nothing pretentious here. My pop would have loved it here.

Large southern cuisine at a great price. Potatoes and engraving were great. I would recommend the chicken over the meat leaflet. Desserts were also very good.

Great food, bathroom service. I can't stop coming here because the food is so diabolical. My only complaint is that the service I get is always terrible. I'm not coming to the hour. I come when the service is slow and maybe have 5 to 6 tables customers. I never get a refill without asking. My server has never been attentive. My favorite food here is the country fried steak. It's delicious. I also tried the butter finger cake. It is small for the price, but very tasty.

Delicious Food, Reasonable Prices.. Mom and I have ate at Garden Gate Cafe here in Muscle Shoals several times. We love their food. We also love that you have to wait a few minutes for the food instead of it sitting there 2 or 3 hours waiting for you or someone else to order it., I love their sweet tea. I wish other eating places that sell sweet tea could make it as good as Garden Gate does. Today, mom and I ate at the one in Florence that opened Monday of this week. I have to say that it was just as good as the one here in Muscle Shoals. I think the prices are pretty reasonable. The portions are plenty big enough for anyone. I didn't leave the one in Florence today still feeling hungry and I've never left the one here in Muscle Shoals still feeling hungry. I felt satisfied and full when I left. Mom and I will definitely be going back to each of these Garden Gate Cafes.

My family and I happened upon this unassuming restaurant tonight. What a happy accident! The food was good, quick, large, and more than reasonably priced. We will most certainly be back!
