Great fish and fries. Excellent cole slaw, and cheap eats. The proprietor is a real stand up guy. Fast service, unpretentious and friendly. We love this place.

WOW! Best fried fish I ever had no joke! Falls a part in your mouth and fish Is caught fresh every morning from Lake Superior! Family owned business and a small food shack with outdoor seating! CASH ONLY! Recommend getting the 1/2 pound if your super hungry. Fries were delicious too! 10/10 would recommend you won’t be disappointed.

This was the best fish fry I’ve ever eaten and a half pound of fresh white fish (you can watch him cut it up and bread it)! It was so good! Cute little outdoor/garage seating. The owners are super nice and helpful with any little tips you might want for the area! A great little hole in the wall!

I appreciate that the owner prepares the food fresh. Typically, there’s a wait of around 15-20 minutes, which can be longer if it’s busy. The restaurant's location is tricky to find without Google Maps since it's tucked away behind another building, essentially in an alley. There is limited outdoor seating available on a first-come, first-served basis, but most customers opt for takeout and head to a nearby park to eat. As for the food, I was a bit disappointed that my fish was dry; it may have just been my particular portion. However, the fries were enjoyable. I recommend ordering the 1/4 pound portion—it offers a generous amount of fish.

I dined here last week and the fish was outstanding. It was evident that it was very fresh. There is ample outdoor and garage seating, making it a great option if you're hungry and prefer not to eat at a traditional restaurant. The staff was very friendly as well. It might improve the experience if they could serve the fish a bit faster during busy times.
