Red Lantern Chinese Restaurant

I have visited many Chinese restaurants in both Australia and China. The premises and tables were extremely clean and well-maintained. The waitress, although new and a bit nervous, was very good and professional. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I would definitely make the trip back to Mt Isa just to dine there. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend. Barry, from Crime Stoppers Mareeba.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere was cozy and inviting with dim lighting and soft music playing in the background.

The restaurant serves good food, but it is expensive for the portion sizes. The prawn cocktail was very small and the decor is severely outdated. The atmosphere is strange in the massive, empty room with no music playing. Overall, the food received a rating of 3, service a 4, and atmosphere a 2.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The satay skewers were tender perfectly cooked and delicious; prawn toast fresh and exceptionally tasty. Sticky honey chicken exactly that and the fried rice fresh and well cooked. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4
