Bidrage med feedbackHoping for something interesting. Got edible. Service was friendly but slow (only one server. Possibly still trying to survive post-COVID? Always make allowances for that). Food was ok. Salad was typical wet Australian 70s style. Please stop serving salad like this.
We happened to book into the first day of this restaurant providing a Guy 's tea . First up, the promotional photo is misleading as there is no beer provided. That is just their suggestion on what would go well with the tea . It would, but we didn 't know we needed to bring our own beer. Now to the good part. The ambience is delightful, the service is excellent, and the food was scrumptious. Really good. The highlight was the coquettes. Wow. You could eat a plate of those. I would make one suggestion for an improvement. The dessert was a really good coffee mousse, but what would have gone nicer on the palate would have been a lemon soufflé or something similar. Overall, we will be back again very soon with more friends to enjoy this delightful restaurant and Guy 's tea . This time with our own beers and wines : .
We hosted a gathering here to remember an elderly family member. The light lunch was delicious and had a nice variety of sandwiches, quiches, and tasty cupcakes in various flavors. The setting was cozy and private, ideal for the occasion. The prices were reasonable and Michelle did a great job making everyone feel welcome. Overall, a fantastic venue.
I wanted to give it a go. Deep Fried Squid Tenticals with Salad Seafood Sauce. I ordered this as an entree for my lunch. Squid tenticals came atop roughly 2 tablespoons of shredded lettuce carrot. Maybe there was 1 teaspoon of sauce sprinkled on squid at most. Tenticals were over fried rubbery. My sister ordered Pork Belly Bun(s) with shredded slaw. One small bun was full of pure thick fat a tiny bit of slaw. The bun was unflavoursome. She could not eat the fat there was no sauce. Neither dishes came with garnish. The young waitress flopped around in freyed jeans sandshoes. Her hair hung down over her face, she did not smile as she placed our meals down. We had to ask for water. My sisters coffee was too strong to drink. At checkout the head lady argued with us when we complained about our meals. She told me that the lettuce under my squid was a salad as stated on the menu. She argued that my sister did order ' pork belly ' bun which is naturally fat. She did not reduce the cost of our meals. Customer service presentation were poor. Taste quality of food was poor. Never will we return.
This place has it all. Lovely decor, friendly service and amazing food. The baked Camembert and garlic prawns were the stand out dishes of the 5 we shared . Great flavours with all our dishes. Will be making this a regular venue
