Bidrage med feedbackAn Indian restaurant in German town? What manner of evil is this? That was my first impression My second impression was that it looks a bit classy.
Really enjoyed both our curries. The meat was tender, and the goat curry was wonderfully coconutty. The service was also very quick, and it's clearly a popular spot with the locals due to the amount of people there at midday on a wednesday. Also love how the menu marked what was gluten free and dairy free, and everything was really reasonably priced. However, the Ginger Chicken was much too oily, and not at all gingery. That was the only negative experience.
After coming home from Europe & England we revisited our favourite restaurant - '5 Spice Indian Cuisine' @ Mt Barker SA. We still consider this restaurant serves the most delicious cuisine, with friendly & efficient service. Also meals (especially lunch time specials) are very reasonably priced. We tend to forget living in OZ just how fortunate we are with food quality, variety of restaurants & reasonable costs. The Indian Restaurants we visited overseas just didn't compare. We will definitely keep returning.
The butter chicken was really nice and tender.... a little bit too sweet but easily fixed with a pinch of salt :) will definitely be back!
This is definitely not the best Indian food we have ever had and it certainly was not the worst however, I can't recommend this restaurant, the best of the three dishes we had was the vegetarian one, it was by far the tastiest and actually had some genuine Indian flavour unfortunately, the other dishes were bland and disappointing.
