La Plage - Mouliets-et-Villemartin

We live nearby and every summer it is one of our highlights to go to La Plage. The environment is magical, the ambience is beautiful, the staff is so beautiful and we love the summer meal, the menu has something for everyone. We go... if there's live music, but this year we have a live dance band to the Sunday Lunch Dances. Now I want to go every week. I'm glad to go back next summer, thank you very much.

The surrounding area next to the river is very relaxed and comfortable. Sometimes there is music to improve the ambience. However, food leaves much to be desired and makes it a high price. Far better choices nearby.

It is such a relaxed and magical place of the Dordogne. Real outside food, in a fspit and sawdust kouthy type of setting. Take Buzz Off for the bites, and you'll be okay. We thought the change of property would go well, but the manager is pretty insulting and the service slow and forget. Long waiting times and frequent memories (e.g. can we have cutlery, please? Thanks for the water, but could we drink glasses? We would have had an ice cream and coffee at the end of the meal, but we would wait for it. And the place wasn't busy. The food was simple and yet delicious, with good prices. The place could be amazing, but missed a few beats.

A casual outside eatery which serves good family meals at a competitive price! Sunday afternoon it hosts traditional indoor dancing!

Stopped here for lunch on the way from Bordeaux airport to Issigeac. Solid meal at a great price. Basic grilled entrecote with fantastic homemade frites. The salads are quite good and copious. Don't bother with the cheese course.the service was amiable and the location and view restful and cool.
