Flaps - Mossel Bay

It is a fun braai place with a great setting. You have a great view of the ocean and at the perfect seating you can even see into the ocean. The food is nothing fancy but it is done great. It is a fun place for a “different” experience but I can also see that it will not be for everyone. I would recommend a try for sure as I find it good.

Wow! What a great experience and the staff team were beyond friendly, attentive and eager to recommend and make sure you have a great time. Everything cook right in the open fire in front in the middle of the restaurant with best view of the ocean. Nothing better with braai, beer and sand overlooking the water. A must in the area!

Great food, especially the Roosterkoek that came straight off the braai and cute little play area for the kiddies. Beautiful views surrounding you while you eat.

It is a very rustic and basic down to earth restaurant with a spectacular and unbeatable setting. Had the lamb curry potjie which was absolutely divine, try it, you will not regret it! Portions are generous. The only let down is that, because of the open fire pit in the middle of the establisment, you may reek of smoke depending on the direction of the wind. The fire adds to the atmosphere, but be wise and choose a table far away from it. It is however a small price to pay and the experience remains one to be savoured. Recommended!
