Small town restaurant feel. English was limited here so we needed to use Google Translate for the menu. Our server was very pleasant. Unfortunately they were running low on the beers we wanted to drink so I managed to get my hands on the last Belhaven and my boyfriend had a Guinness. Our food came out and I was excited to see my very large veal schnitzel. My boyfriend had the wings and the steak. Our food was wonderful! We found the portion sizes were just right. We had room for the chocolate cake which was warm and resembled a brownie. It looked like a smaller restaurant although I think there was an entire other dining side we didn't see so it's hard to tell. It was a nice casual dinner for us.

So finally, I made to Schnitzy, heard about for years and I went with a friend at lunch time. Great service, utterly friendly one of the few places in Lugano where everybody ask you if you are happy about how your meat was cooked and checks on you. Food was good and tasty. Business meeting: as they fry the place is a bit smelly, still, don 't be put off by it, if you have clients looking for a place that is local just advise them about the smell and go ahead. Sure your client will appreciate the great service and food along with the quiet and friendly enviroment at lunch time. Lunch menu is a very good deal as well, especially for big eaters. We 'll be back! Note the restaurant is not open everyday at lunch time.

Service was great. Even though we only spoke English, we were treated well. Menus are completely in Italian, so we had to use the google translate camera to read it. Filling food. They accept credit cards.
