Castle Chinese Take-away - Moray

During the Dufftown Highland Games weekend, we ordered 2 chicken chow mein dishes. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy and some customers having to wait a while for their food, we received our order fairly quickly. Unfortunately, we witnessed some locals making borderline racist comments towards the staff and the owner's family, which was quite distressing. We suggest offering a reduced walk-in menu for future games weekends that can be easily prepared in advance to speed up service. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning next year. I had a fantastic experience at this Chinese takeaway restaurant in the charming town of Dufftown! The Chow Mein and Fried Rice were both delicious, and the service was fast. Since it is a takeaway-only establishment, there isn't much to say about the atmosphere.

Excellent speedy service, delicious food, generous portions, and superb value for money. What's not to love?

Really good Chinese with a fantastic menu. Try not to become static and order the same each visit so have had a variety of different dishes.
