8 of us called in for lunch. Nice table outside in the shade. Good menu for lunch, not expensive. Good food big portions. Nice servers.

We ate here about six times during our holiday and each meal was of excellent quality and very good value for money. Service was always polite and very efficient. Great place for a light lunch.

Nice to sit outside, but the food was very basic. Courteous, hard working wait staff, but again, the food is not up to any standard that is acceptable in France...

If you are in this part of France looking for a great bar with a local friendly welcome and lively atmosphere you will have struck gold here. It's a shop, a cafe, a newsagents and tge nearest thing you will get to a pub. Great staff, great beers and superb local wines The recent refurb has gone chic but kept the ambience. Coolio

Déçus de notre camping, nous avons quitté les lieux au plus vite sans petit déj. là on nous accueille avec le sourire : ouf, ça fait du bien, l'ambiance morose s'envole ! café, jus, chocolat et oui on peut aller acheter pain et viennoiserie à côté et consommer ici. le lion d'or nous réconcilie avec montsoreau ! on va pouvoir poursuivre notre route à vélo vers fontevraud après un petit déjeuner de roi !
