Saiyera and Richard, the couple who run the place are delightful and extremely welcoming. They have a large knowledge of the area and easy to chat with on a lazy afternoon. The food, superb; very tasteful and well priced. Will definitely recommend the place to family and friends visiting the beautiful and generous area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Excellent welcome, limited menu but everything is homemade. We had a great time in this unusual little restaurant. Very reasonable price for homemade.

Just had lunch there today. Out of season they are mainly open for tea, coffee and cake however they had just one item on the lunch menu curry. Very unusual indeed but it all made sense once we spoke to the lovely couple who ran it. They made us feel so welcome and we spent ages chatting before we ordered lunch. The gentleman selected a lovely wine for my wife, which she just loved. We’re off to the recommended vineyard to buy some more before we leave! He was passionate about wine, particularly organic ‘bio’ as they call it. When the meal came it was amazing, just like ‘home cooked’ curry. We had a choice of pork, chicken or chickpea. We went for the chicken for my wife and the pork for me. Just wonderful with all the trimmings and even more rice if we wanted it! We ate everything on the plate! I haven’t seen my wife eat so much for ages! Couldn’t resist their wonderful selection of home baked cakes too! Chatting to them felt like speaking to family!
