Bidrage med feedbackThe service is absolutely beautiful. However, interior design and food could be improved to justify their price. The menu soup was bland and on the contrary, the General Tao Chicken was very salty. The colors of the place, the furniture and the utensils look like a canteen instead of a restaurant. If the prices were half of what they are now, I would go there every day... B.B.
I came here for dinner because I felt like Chinese food. If you just want noodles or something, this place is fine. But if you want real Chinese food, go somewhere else. The prices are crazy. Every court we got was $12 and they were not full-fledged dishes. The plate came with rice and salad. Only half of the record was what you actually wanted. $12 for black bean fish stir fry and only half of the plate was the stir fry?????? The image on the menu naturally shows a complete sheet of the material. Take off. $10 for beef and broccoli, again, only the dish was beef and broccoli.... If you are lazy and this place is close, then with all means. But Montreal has so many other places to eat. I wouldn't try anything else.
I went there for lunch with 2 friends and the place was not crowded like most of the downtown restaurants. Service was fast and we were not rushed to go. Beautiful selection of Thai and Chinese dishes with daily lunch specialities as well. Will definitely go back.
We ordered veggie rolling (crispy fried) with a sweet dip sauce, yellow curry with tofu and green curry with beef. The curries were served with steamed rice. Portions were a good size, food was quickly freshly prepared. I also ordered a page of peanut sauce. We ordered extra spicy and if you prefer spicy order more spicy than you think you should. The curry sauce was not almost as delicious as our two favorite places at home, so I could only give average rating for this taste of food. My husband said it didn't feel like he was eating Thai food.
Dinner for under $20 for 2 in Montreal is never easy to organize so we were very impressed when for $25.00 including tip we got tea and two big meals. My favorite was the Eggplant dish, although the BBQ Pork thin...silvers of pork served over rice was not bad, not bad at all. But it was the Eggplant that was the clear winner. They described it as 'spicy ' but we didn 't find it spicy at all just well prepared, nicely served, and a good size for the price point and location right in downtown Montreal. I loved the green decor as well so fresh and so cute.
