Prince Maki Sushi - Montréal

Sushi and Poke Bowl here are brilliant!! Hygen is perfect fyi. Interior design and service are also good.

Definitely a beautiful little hole in the wall.. Some of the best Japanese curry you could find at the Eastside of the city. If you have ever been, Curry Zen like a/but don't want to take the drive from the north or east, then you would be happy to go here, they're flavors are almost identical (Oh! Curry has the better croquettes tho and more spacious.

Great sushi! I went to buy Miso soup and I had to bring it back, unfortunately it didn't taste like everything! I'm happy I brought it back, the lady even offered me a refund that I thought was very friendly. I got sushi instead and it was really good. They are very generous with the ingredients and it does not feel like you are currently paying for rice. I'll go back.

Me and three friends hurried to a local tour at 3 p.m. and decided to stop at this restaurant on the way because they had sushi on the menu. Despite the Google listing suggesting it was cheap, the prices turned out to be high. A plate of 6 small maki pieces cost $6, which is twice the price compared to other places. The restaurant also had a different name than what was advertised. The rolls were poorly made and small, with a lack of fish for the price. I tried a Poke bowl which was average, but the best option available. The rolls were served on a shared plate even though we didn't want to share. The ramen was decent, with tasty broth but cheap meat and thin noodles, catering to those who prefer it that way. They also offer interesting Asian snacks for purchase on the way out. The restroom is shared with a nearby hotel. Overall, not the best place for sushi but convenient location in the old city center near tourist attractions.

I'll say that the service was good, we felt comfortable. The sushi was masterfully crafted. Why 3 stars? We felt that some of the fish was not fresh... Something didn't taste right. We were afraid we might get sick and had some anxiety about this for the rest of the day, but we were fine. This combined with the fact that it was much more expensive than we're used too is the reason for the 3 star rating.
