Bidrage med feedbackWent here with my family to grab a quick bite. Lots of different accessible seating. Armless chairs, benches (the tables move), etc. The staff was awesome. All franglaphone, since it's in the English area. I got a chicken wrap and it was delicious and huge. The fries were super tasty too, I couldn't finish it all. My brother got a poytinr and Mac n cheese bites and he couldn't eat it all either.
Been eating from here for the last 20 years and the food is just too inconsistent to justify my continuing to order. You never know how big the chicken wings are going to be, how fresh the fries will taste. With the prices of all meals steadily increasing I cannot pay $20 for an 8 wing meal that has the meat for around 4 regular sized wings. Also when I requested chicken necks in the past I would get anywhere from 5/6 today I am lucky to get 3. Very disappointed and will need to look elsewhere for my rotisserie chicken.
I have heard about this place many times on the radio but since it's all the way in the West Island, I never really got the opportunity to try it. Until last week, where I was meeting friends in this area, we decided to all come here for supper. The inside looks like a diner and is very clean. The waitress sat us down and gave us the menu. We ordered the sampler platter which included cheese sticks, zucchini wedges, jalapeño poppers and a marinara sauce. I personally loved the zucchini wedges but I must say that the rest of the group loved the poppers. It tasted fresh and although they were fried it wasn't oily at all. We then ordered a large Caesar salad and what really surprised be was that they used the heart of romaine lettuce, I hate when my Caesar salad has those thick dark green romaine leaves. They actually used the heart of romaine which tells me they are not stingy and care about the quality of their food. Now let's get to the main event, the chicken. All I have to say is WOW, honestly it makes a huge difference when your chicken is done over charcoal, OMG it had an amazing smell and taste to it, so juicy and tender, I had the quarter leg, while others had half chicken and chicken sandwich. You can choose your side from baked potato, mashed potato, fries or rice. They also bring you coleslaw and gravy sauce. Everybody loved their plates and we were all stuffed but our waitress suggested Nutella cheesecake and how can you turn down that. That cheesecake was out of this world. Honestly I was so impressed by the food and the friendly staff much better than St-Hubert, Scores and Le Coq. I will definitely be coming here more often. From all the BBQ chicken I have had this was the best, a big 5 stars in my book.
Food was great as always. The service for take out was helpful and fast. The sauce taste a bit different from last summer. But it was still great
Been coming to this spot since i was 10 years old but i recently went and got a breast meal. They used to always put 2 hamburger buns but now its only 1. Basically paid 20$ total for a1 breast meal and i went in person and didnt use ubereats. Very overpriced for what you get. Disappointed.
