Mundos Sandwich Burger House - Monterey

This sandwich shop is no-frills but provides quick and efficient service. The pastrami sandwich here is the best I've ever had, especially with their slightly spicy "Mundos" aioli sauce. A must-try!

I have been coming here for years. I always (with occasional exceptions) order the Argentine Tri Tip sandwich. It is the BEST! I love this place.

I have ordered from this restaurant twice now, and both times the sandwiches have been exceptional. The bread is always perfectly crispy, the aioli adds a delicious layer of flavor, and the bell peppers provide moisture and a satisfying crunch. The style of sandwiches is similar to those at 3 Worlds nearby, but I believe the quality of ingredients here is superior. I ordered through a delivery app both times and only had one issue: they left the onions on despite my request to have them removed. While the sandwich was delicious, I now taste onion on my breath as I head to work. Overall, this is a great spot to grab a delicious sandwich. (Pictured: Turkey sandwich to go)

The burger was disappointing, as it was dry and tasted like a generic cafeteria burger. Given the $12 price tag, I expected something more. I would have preferred if they served french fries instead of potato salad.

Absolutely love their sandwiches! Their bread is the best for a sandwichs!
