J&s American& Mexican - Montebello

Food was incredibly underwhelming and not worth the 43 dollars spent, plus the 2 dollar charge to use their atm since it's cash only. Their breakfast burrito lacks, their burger is alright and their chilly is something that leaves you wondering why you didn't go to Wienerschnitzel. Incredibly mid and I wouldn't recommend going unless you have absolutely nowhere else to go. They also added an extra 4 dollar charge on top of the already priced double bacon cheeseburger which doesn't make much sense, why am I paying extra for the bacon on a bacon cheeseburger?

The food was delicious! The reason for the 1 star is because the nasty older woman on the register. There was a homeless man that bought a burrito and was eating there. He asked her for a cup of water and she yelled at him no and told him he had to leave. Poor guy, it's a hot summer night and she couldn't even give him water l, even after he already bought food from her. It was just ugly to see her being inhumane, she doesn't know what he went through that led him to be homeless. I ended up getting him a large ice water and gave him 20 bucks and he was super grateful. Just a nice guy in a sad situation.

Breakfast burritos are always so great!!! Been coming here for 40+years and still our families late night early afternoon after a late night spot!!!!!

I love J S been coming here since I was a kid service is quick and easy not a fancy place just late night munchies! Taquitos with cheese and guacamole and the breakfast burrito the beans in it are fire !!! Do t forget to get the pico de Gallo!

They use 2B really good but now they are putting beans in there breakfast burritos and very little meat beans belong on the side what's next rice are we in northern CA
