Maria Fidone - Modica

We thoroughly enjoyed an evening here in late November, 2008. We seek out restaurants that offer the Slow Food tradition and we had read about this place in the Osteria e Locande d 'Italia . The night we were there was very much low season and though the locals were picking up their to-go orders, we were the only diners in the restaurant. This afforded us an opportunity to experience the warm hospitality of this family who served us a wonderfully satisfying feast, and extended themselves to make us feel like part of their family. A highlight of our stay in Sicily.

We had a genuine meal in this agriturismo. The place is very sinple but the food is authentic and tasty. Ravioli di riccotta and the starters was amazing Try the rabbit too

We arrived late for lunch on a really rainy day. They gave us a table anyway. Even though we don't speak very good Italian, they treated us with such kindness. The food was amazing. So good, so fresh. No frills, just down to earth good food. The place was filled with local families. The price was really good for the amount of food we ate. Loved that place and the people.

Cosa dire spettacolare tutto dall'antipasto al dessert, la cucina classica fatta in casa, si può anche fare il bis personale tranquillamente, cordiale e disponibile, tornerò sicuramente, altamente raccomandato
