Uncomfortable experience: both sweet and salty appetizers are exposed on 2 tables next to the entrance door without any protection. Whoever enters the place, being very small, passes us practically over... absolute lack of hygiene! Food should not be allowed to be exposed without protection!
I'm not used to write negative reviews, but I'm interested in pointing out (experienced in constructive optics) that a hot tea of the cost of 5 euros, aware that the bar is in a central position, can not be served with warm water, especially after having noticed it and without having to remedy it. I don't have a positive memory of the place.
I had booked a cake to celebrate a graduation, too bad they missed the order! I was upset and embarrassed, they were sorry, and they said I could go to other pastries. I got my deposit and stop. The owner was not present, so I understand the wrong orders, but I expected a contact as soon as possible, instead no excuse was presented to me despite the great discomfort I had to face in front of the guests. Pure lack of style. A pastry shop in the center of Modena, near the Duomo and can not even keep customers. Smoke and no roast. Disappointed.
Very slow and quirky service! We sit to order, after about five minutes comes the girl who takes the ordination of our table and that of a couple near us.. after 25 minutes of waiting, with the service provided to at least three tables arrived after us (presumably because regular customers), they bring us coffee and cappuccino saying that the brioches would come at times. After another couple of minutes, the girl approached to say that the brioche at the tidy pistachio was no longer available, to which I drink coffee (at that cold point) without eating anything. Experience really to forget for slowness (but you wait half an hour sitting at the table to have breakfast, then you can not even eat what I had ordered), indifference of the staff and little interest to customers (at least young or occasional ones).
