The Simple Greek - Mobile

First time visit and I was disappointed with the Gyro. I've always had authentic gyros where the meat is sliced off the rotisserie/spit. Never have I been served ground hamburger meat on a pita, but that's how they do it at Simple Greek. The second best part of a gyro is the yogurt/cucumber sauce. They were stingy with it. And, sadly, the pita bread itself was stale, the edges were hard.Not a total loss. I enjoyed the hummus, spinach pie and baklava. But those are items not made there.

The food was good but it was insanely expensive for what I got. The woman who served me was very nice and patient with me. The man, who i assume was the owner or manager, was very rude and unwelcoming. The food was overpriced expensive but good, the service from the employees was excellent. There are just better options at this price point and with the way I was treated by the gm owner.Vegetarian options: Plenty of them. The falafel was great and not too spicy.

Tried a traditional gyro. It was good. Love the set up where eat person can really tailor the meal to them. Definitely going back to try one of the bowls.Food: 4/5

Been at the childrens hospital for 2 weeks with my son and was wanting Greek gyros once I seen this place was close. I traveled for 10 years for work so I have been to so many Greek restaurants and this is not a Greek restaurant at all. I wanted a gyro and the pita they use literally comes out of a bag not heated/toasted anything. Most places I been rub the pita in the grease from the fresh meats being cooked. So I chose a bowl instead. The rice was cold and hard the meat was dry and cold and no flavor at all besides salt most of the stuff I had put in the. Bowl was old and no taste it was messy and I always get Greek style fry's so I ordered them here also and watched them drop them in the fryer didn't see the lady making them after so it came time to pay and yes I knew it would be a lot. Also noticed the prices on this apps menu was way less then the ones on the tv inside she rang it up to 23 dollars and still wanted a tip. They couldn't even clean up definitely didn't do anything to deserve a tip. I tipped anyway because I never not tip when it's a place that has it. I came back to the hospital maybe 7-8 minutes away and the fry's were so soggy with grease they were cold in then few minutes it took to get back. They were horrible and seemed like they just dropped already cooked fry's in the fryer. Over all I would give it -5 for everything all together the food was not good for what it is supposed to be it was not even cooked right for what it is. And I told the lady this isn't a Greek restaurant and she said no it's really American version of what one is but made to be fast. I have been to a lot as I said before and most are actually really fast. If you want fast good food call in a order at a restaurant if you want fast not good food for way to much money go here. But leave a real review like I have.

I haven't been in over a year or more, but the food is still delicious. Friendly and courteous staff!
