Bidrage med feedbackI recently stayed at the Watson House for a special occasion. We had issues with the code to access the accommodations and were left standing with small children for some time. The staff was rude when addressing the code problem and did not offer any apologies. Once inside, we discovered there was no hot water for a shower before our event. It took over an hour before management fixed the issue, forcing us to go without a shower until that evening. Overall, the experience was disappointing given the price level of the accommodations. The management and staff displayed poor behavior towards us as guests.
We had the pleasure to stay in the white house with my family and a family of friends (10 overall) we found the white house spacious and well acquainted for all of us, with three large bedrooms and two child rooms, we had a lot of space to spread out the lounge was spacious with a possibility of a folding couch, spacious kitchen and it area for everything we needed. the two bathrooms proved very comfortable and wash area (although we did not need to use) had everything they could need! the exterior was amazing with a large tw, huge refrigerator and bbq, also heating and fans, the zipper track bubbles were very practical too. all this plus more has been in a beautiful rural environment that the children loved, drive around their bikes and explore all day! the house was just a short walk to the packing shed that offered a beautiful meal, open fire and spectacular view of the murray river! can not wait to see how the current renovations into the other accommodation on the old buildings that are almost complete! can not wait to come back!
Our family spent 2 nights in the perricoota station together with another family, and the watson’s house tickled all boxes. the house was beautifully renovated, but has held the charm of the Art Deco style from the outside to the bathroom. with 5 bedrooms. and 2 bathrooms it just accommodated us all. three bedroom rooms had a beautiful view of the bred paddocks and felt like the exercises of adults, the other 2 rooms were bunk beds that our children perfectly suited. the children loved to walk around the farm and also enjoyed cycling around the farm. the house was beautifully presented, very clean and well equipped for cooking for ourselves. we enjoyed dinner and breakfast on the back deck with views of the accommodation. the deck had both ventilators and heating, both of which were used at a weekend due to 4 seasons. the owners welcomed us and were pleased to show us around the world and to give the children a history hour on the railway station over the years. we had dinner in the packing shed, which was warm and welcoming and just a short walk from the watson’s house. beautifully restored with an amazing open fireplace. the food was delicious and beer was cold. our children were greeted with coloring and activities and felt like home. the view of the murray river from the packing shed deck was nice that we could have sat for hours easily. we are looking forward to a further stay at the perricoota station.
We had two family stay in the white house, it was amazing, very spacious, short walk to pack shed, great eating and great looking at the flow from the pack shed deck
We held our daughter's wedding at The Packing Shed at Perricoota Station in March 2020. It was a beautiful location for a wedding and The Packing Shed served as a fantastic reception venue. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The deck area, with its view of the river, was stunning and the overall ambiance of the venue was amazing. The staff running the restaurant were very attentive and accommodating on the day. Unfortunately, I found the owner of Perricoota Station, Jodie, to be quite officious and unwelcoming.
