Bread Salt Afghan Cuisine - Mississauga

After order online for pickup, I was lied to by the staff saying my meal would be ready in 3min. I waited about 25min and was given a soda for the wait but the food wasn't worth it. It was cold and flavorless. I won't ever be back here. It's not worth the time and money. McDonald's would have been a better option.

Got the aushak veg dumplings and chef special. Was very tasty afghan food, really enjoyed with my husband. Server girl Soha was lovely and explained to us with patience the difference between things which we had questions about.

I recently dined at Salt and Bread Afghan Cuisine, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The food was not only delicious but also showcased the authentic flavors of Afghan cuisine. The warm and welcoming ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The service was incredible, earning this restaurant a well-deserved 5-star rating. I highly recommend Salt and Bread for a delightful culinary journey.

Totally stunned by how delicious this was. Started with the aushak (leek) dumplings, served with seasoned split peas and yogurt. Thin, delicate dumpling skins were cooked perfectly. Eggplant boorani was fantastic tender eggplant smothered in an intense tomato sauce and drizzled with yogurt. A little too oily but perfect for wiping up with naan.The lamb tikka and chicken tandoori tikka were both outstanding perfectly tender chunks of well seasoned meat, served with fragrant rice, salad, and fresh naan that's fluffy on the inside and perfectly crisp and chewy on the outside! Beef seekh (minced beef) skewer was the weakest dish (a bit bland and a bit dry).The garlic sauce and tomato chutney were both delicious and complimented the flavour of the meats extremely well.Interior decor was nice (modern) but our water glass was dirty and there was food on the table when we were seated (server had to come back and wipe the table down for us). Despite that, the food was amazing. Will definitely eat here again.

Ordered two chapli kebab wraps for takeout, it’s too shaggy due to lots of water in pickle/stuff inside and messed up the wraps. kids not liked it) *Might be good if I dined in)keep in mind for take out orders to minimize the watery portion inside.On positive note, shop interior is too good and staffs are friendly.Nice atmosphere for dine in.
