Raku - Minneapolis

My fried rice was excellent and the server was excellent.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Friday night it was a bit late (about 7:30). It was kinda dead here and we were seated quickly and then didn’t see our server for about 10 mins. She didn’t come to say hello or ask if we had drink orders, we had to flag her down and ask for drinks...and she wanted to take our orders. It was strange. I’m usually pretty empathetic with wait staff but this place was over staffed if anything, so the behavior was unexcusable. There were 5+ people that worked there waiting tables and walking around and about 6 10 tables with diners at them. There was also a bar tender at a bar with no people at it. The menu is massive and has big pictures. Our food was OK, and our drinks were OK. My water glass and my cocktail glass were both kinda dirty and it made me feel super gross! Additionally, the booths weren’t ridiculously clean. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Go elsewhere for your sushi needs, if possible, or check out any other restaurant in the 50th France area.

Great portions. Try the Captain Crunch and Fire Rolls. You won't be disappointed. Special shout out to JasonD. Great service.

Raku is a good sushi restaurant.... food is good, service is good and its convenient. I prefer other places in town, but its much easier to get in here at the last minute.

We go here to enjoy sushi and take the kids. Great apps that kids love to eat and also teriyaki.
