Crafty Crab - Minneapolis

When we drove up we were a bit worried as it is not a brand new building however, the interior is fresh, clean, and bright. The staff was very nice and quick. We ordered and it was out very quickly. My fiancé ordered an appetizer of hush puppies to sop up the juices. He then ordered a boil of crab legs, and half-pound of shrimp with heads on, in Lemon/pepper butter, and mild spicy. I got a boil with crab legs, half-pound of crawfish, half-pound of shrimp with heads on, half-pound of sausage, in their special sauce and garlic butter with medium spicy. Each boil contains potatoes and corn. Let me tell you, I loved this so much that I could have drank the juice with a straw! This was just like a place down in Alabama that is one one my favorite places to have a boil. I loved everything about this boil. It was perfectly buttery, spicy but not too spicy so I could taste the seafood itself and I could. It was quality seafood and the addition of the seasonings is amazing. I was full half way through so I brought half home. I finished it for supper and the potatoes had soaked up the delicious buttery sauce and spices and man it was tremendously YUMMY!!! We will not hesitate to come back here and bring our families as well. Next time, we will get the lobster, Scallops, Crab, and head on Shrimp. I may go back next month for my birthday!!! We live 2 hours away, but we will be back! Try this place if you want a really amazing and a bit messy meal...wear the bib, NOT KIDDING, as it saves your shirt! You will not be disappointed in choosing this restaurant.

This was a surprising find and a delight, we will absolutely be back! The food was wonderful, the prices were great for what you get and the service was faster than I could have even imagined.

So went here for a birthday celebration, had reservations… they had one server for the entire restaurant. Our party was for 20 at the least we had the party room) food came out in spurts since there was only one cook as well we think. I don’t know that I will go back as portions seemed small some ordered extra meat and amounts looked same as the ones who didn’t).

Shrimp and potatoes and corn and sauce were wonderful... But the clams were so small could barely find them to eat them. The crab were yuck like day old. Especially the King crab. Never go back especially for the price sorry.

Enjoyed very much. Food arrived fast and hot. The coating on fried foods is light and delicious. If you like oysters, I definitely recommend them fried. We shared an order of fried calamari. Very good. ?? One person in our group had a boil. It comes in a clear plastic bag tied, which you open and release the steam. Several sauces to choose from for the boils. The restaurant is decorated with lots of fish and sea creatures, nets, and cute lighting. We will go back again.
