Mifune - Minatoku

This place used to be good, but lost it. Signature dishes sold out (also we were the first guests), wagyu beef, that was not the list goes on. Very disappointing. Today it is a tourist trap far from its former glory. Meifune himself must turn in his grave.

Travel from the USA after a non-fishing dinner to experience Tokyo “Steak”. This place was great. Cool Casual Vibe, steak options for all of us, from plum slices to burgers. Fantastic! If you are looking for a relaxing place, friendly and interesting, that is it. Pricey, but worth it.

Everything here was excellent! I was looking for a beautiful place near where we were on vacation and I didn't want to go anywhere tourists as it was my daughters 10. Birthday. Despite the staff speaking minimal English everything was excellent and for my surprise the restaurant had a nice personal birthday cake and candle for my girl also ready. We are still talking about how great food, service and atmosphere were at Mifune!

This is a great little restaurant in roppongi. Fairly surprisingly it was very quiet on a Saturday evening. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was great. The interior is in the traditional Japanese style where you set at floor level and there is a cavity below floor level for your legs. The black sesame dessert was awesome.
