Rusticana - Mill Bay

A warm, cozy ambience inside and relaxing outdoor area, the food is fresh, intensively portioned and friendly served. Appropriately expensive, delicious food with wonderful coffee. Popular among locals, it is a simple place to calm down and relax. Parking outside a bonus. Note: Closes at 2 o'clock.

Here stopped to get a coffee and use the laundry room on the way from Victoria to Nanaimo. All the bakes and snacks saw and decided to try it for lunch. The cream of the mushroom soup was served with bread and was very full. Also a raspberry that was also very good. We look forward to the next time we get through.

We originally planned on just getting coffee, but after being presented with the amazing food options, we decided on having an early lunch instead. We opted for everyone to have a cup of the delicious pumpkin and yam soup and share a sandwich. The soup was flavorful and came in a generous portion. The clubhouse sandwich we chose was packed with bacon, cucumbers, tomatoes, chicken, and a tasty sauce. The restaurant had both beautiful outdoor and indoor seating options. I thanked the cashier for the delicious meal and overheard another customer say, "That's why I keep coming back."

Time for a coffee break, and what a pleasant surprise to find a variety of delicious options available. From tuna and grilled meats to sandwiches made to order with a choice of bread, this was the perfect way to kick off my holiday. The quality of the food was excellent and I left feeling completely satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My family of 9 had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant with excellent service! We all enjoyed our meals, as well as the coffee and smoothies. There were also plenty of delicious looking treats available. The outdoor garden was charming, and we appreciated being able to bring our dog along. We would definitely return to this restaurant!
