Jodok - Milano

I was expecting a nice restaurant with average food but Jodok is actually a gourmand place in a informal and friendly setting. I love the concept, the service, the location and of course the food!

Atmosphere is unusual, cos' it's located in courtyard of an ex-psychiatric hospital of Milan, (don't expect to visit a creepy place indeed! . Food is awesome! Really! I'm a local milanese, we were in ten people, some of them hesitant because of the location but believe me: if you're going to have a nice dinner, in a silent place, perfect to have a talk with your friends this is a good choice! You'll surprise them!

In a former mental hospital, a group of people have set up this unusual restaurant or 'trattoria ' ' in a larger project still involved with social workers. At midday is a essy going restaurant, with budget menu inclusive of home made pasta, vegetarian dishes and traditional food. Evenings are lightly closer to a ' 'chef ' ' menu, a succesful mix of traditional and inspirational cousine. During summer time lunch and dinner are served under the pleasant shadow of a porch in the gardens which surround the location. Unusual and lovely spot not central but easy to reach by tube. We visit on a regularl basis, lovely. Worth a visit.

Posto meraviglioso e accogliente in cui ti senti davvero a casa. Personale super gentile e cibo ottimo. L'ambiente è caloroso.
