Boxwood Estate Winery - Middleburg

The staff at the restaurant was exceptional, particularly a young man who was friendly, helpful, and courteous. However, we found that everything was overpriced and the atmosphere felt stuffy. While we don't mind paying a lot for wine, the taste just wasn't up to par. The price didn't match the quality of the wine, and we didn't really enjoy any of the selections offered.

This restaurant is a nice place with good wine. However, they should post accessible entrance for wheelchair users as it is currently not posted and the front entrance is difficult to navigate. It would be helpful if they could post signs around the back entrance. Despite this, I would still consider returning in the future.

Amazing Virginia wines and incredible staff. The winemaker, Steven, has completely changed my opinion on only drinking white wines from Virginia. I purchased my first bottle of red Virginia wine and also joined a winery's club for the first time. I will definitely be returning with friends and family in the future!

Lovely afternoon here. Fun tasting in the 'cave ' amongst the wine casks. Bring a sweater...it 's chilly! Had very nice charcuterie and cheese tray, thoughtfully prepared. Moved outside to warm up, and thoroughly enjoyed the views of the winery and grape vines.

Second time to Boxwood, been 5 years since the first. Still outstanding Bordeaux-style wines. Knowledgeable staff, including the guy who poured for me last time... that says a lot about the family-like atmosphere of this winery. One of their wines, Boxwood 2020, ranks personally as one of my five best ever tasted. Just wish they opened before Thursday during the week.
