The Lockhart Tavern - Mid Sussex

Honestly one of the best roasts I've had this year. The nutroast and mash were especially tasty, and roast potatoes and Yorkie perfectly cooked. The desserts were also amazing and great selection of AF beers. Great service. Highly recommend

Loved everything about this place staff, interior and food. We had a beautiful roast and every component was lovely. Would definitely recommend to others.

Have been to the Lockhart on many occasions and it never disappoints. Always a great selection of local ales, the food is also great, my personal favorite being the Korean chicken burger which I highly recommend. Staff are good, shout-out to Taela in particular who is always very pleasant. Will no doubt return again soon!

We love the Lockhart- such great beer and the best Korean chicken wings ever.. but for the second visit.. no chicken wings. How difficult is it to plan chicken wings!!! The salad was limp and dripping in dressing.. they said it had just been made.. I’m sorry it’s not possible for lettuce to do that within minutes of dressing. Appreciate they took this off the bill but wish they had understood the problem rather than tell me I was wrong.
