Nauti Cajun Crab - Metuchen

Celebrated my best friends 33rd Anniversary. We had an awesome time. Food was delicious!! Will definitely visit again.

One and done for me. Waited a while before our waitress came to our table and I'm not a fan of the music with the projectors showing the accompanying hip hop video.Food was good but expensive and it's BYOB.Pass.

Attentive service and friendly. Lowered music without us asking, as it was pretty loud. A bit pricey, but I guess it’s seafood and they also provided amenities — extra gloves, bibs, napkins, disposable wet towels.We got Dungeness crab, snow crab, black mussels, and New Zealand green mussels. The menu online is not updated with prices, the current menu is in the restaurant through a QR code in the table.Dungeness crab meat was more tender than snow crab meat, but more of a seafood fishy taste. Snow crab had less flavor and firmer meat, but those who aren’t super particular about seafood salty/ocean taste will like it. The New Zealand green mussels were good— they were very tender, almost creamy, and actually bigger than the black mussels.We also put potato and corn in our build-your-own bucket. The potato was good; they charge by each potato — $0.75 for 1 potato. The corn price was $1 for 1, but it turned out that the “1” was like 1/2 of a regular-sized cob or sometimes 1/3-1/4 of a large cob.Their signature seasoning (Nauti) is good, it’s a blend of regular Cajun boil seasoning and garlic butter. Medium was the right level of spice, I could have gone spicier, but then it wouldn’t have been as enjoyable as I would be dealing with a fully runny nose. I’m not a huge fan of spicy food, but I don’t mind it.

This place is great! The food always consistently delicious and the service is always amazing. It's BYOB TOO! So bring your favorite beer to pair with their awesome seafood ????

This place exceeds expectations in so many ways. Food is amazing! Get their signature sauce with the bucket. Service is exceptional. Our server was amazing- made sure we were taken care of. And the hostess even came over to give us a better takeout box after she felt ours wasn?t good enough to hold everything- something that we weren?t even concerned about. That genuine gesture showed that they actually care about the customer experience. The ambience is so good. Try to take a reservation on weekend if you can. We went without it and we were ok, though. Note: It?s not inexpensive so check menu prices. Overall, just such an amazing night for us.
