The staff was so friendly and the meal was fantastic. Just like with your own family cooked for a house, Italian dinner. The handmade gnocchi was delicious with a light, tasteful sauce.

Beautiful Italian restaurant on Main Street in Mewelen in a quiet part of the city, not far from downtown. They are known for their fresh pasta, you can mix with seafood, vegetables or sauces to create your own dish. We tried the Pappardelle and Cavatelli with meat sauce, both were delicious, beautiful texture, pure comfort food. The restaurant is easy to reach, not a parking lot, but can park on the side streets. It is close to a crosswalk with the pedestrian-hand flag to help you cross, but be careful how the cars drive fast on Main Street and not always stop despite the flag. I came on a Sunday night and it was easy to get a table. I had stopped on a Saturday night before and it was packed, just reservations. On Friday and Saturday they have live music. On Sunday, when we went, they had a local student, a young singer/guitarist who performed some songs. The ambience is beautiful, good lighting, white linen tablecloths, glass water grills. There were families and couples. There's a big back room for parties. The service was great, very friendly staff so you feel welcome.

The pizza is delicious and very timely served! and the atmosphere is always friendly, restaurant is quite beautiful decor.

Very recommended! On Thursday evening (11/29/18) it went one (1st time) and hit the new owner. Nice. He offered me an espresso (which was a real Italian shot of coffee). I wish I had eaten there. Everything was great, no matter what. The pizza sauce was perfect. The duck I ordered from the specials had a really delicious mushroom deiglaze sauce and was boiled exactly right. I can't wait to go back and try out more.

I love the new owners! Not only are they awesome, the food is delicious and the service is impeccable! It's evident that a lot of love and pride is put into each and every dish. I mean c'mon, how can you go wrong with pasta made fresh daily? One of their signature steaks is on my list for the next visit. You will not be disappointed.
