Sushi Blues Cafe

My fiancé and I have been coming here for years! And the food is always super good. I love the sweet home Alabama that has cooked chicken in it and they have the best spicy mayo in town. (Not too spicy) We love the variety of the sushi roll options and them being BOGO helps too. The atmosphere here is pretty good and we have always had great service every time we came. It is definitely busier downtown on the weekend so best to set a reservation and you will likely have to pay for parking. Unless you are fine walking a bit further to park in the free parking garage near by. Don’t forget to get your side of spicy mayo with your sushi! It’s not the same without it.

Definitely my favorite place in Raleigh to get sushi! It’s absolutely delicious and my husband and I frequently stop by. I did have a rough experience on Friday night when I stopped to get take out. Was quoted a 10 minute wait and didn’t get our food for a whole hour, asked to wait outside in the rain. Also didn’t realize the BOGO deal was only in person so the hour long take out was double the price. Was a bit of a bummer experience for the friend I’d brought who was a first timer. I’d highly recommend for a dine in experience but would definitely suggest not ever doing take out here.

Sushi was good. Steak was way too done and the fried rice tasted weird. Ive never had fried rice that tasted like that. The teriyaki chicken was good

Haven't been in a long time. Food was good. And the hostess was very attentive. We both had the bogo sushi, which was well prepared and delicious. She kept our tea.and water filled, and brought our to go boxes, without us asking. The only funny was that my friend, a woman, was paying the bill and had the card on her side of the table, and after paying, the hostess handed me the card. Lol. It was okay, old traditions die hard. But I found it funny to assume the man was paying. Will return.
