Bidrage med feedbackMy man and I have stopped for a bit after the hope that the assessments were even 50% correct. either the people who write these reviews have no taste buds, or they have no taste buds. we ordered a Patty melt and a basic burger, a requested medium rare, a requested medium. both objects came out well with a crisp coating. we never send food again, but I actually wanted to try bark in my burger. again my burger arrives, well done. at this time my man has torn off two or three bits of his Patty melt, so if our waiter asks whether my right is done, I say no, but I have lost my appetit until now. he stood next to us has ordered a steak, and he sends it back and says it is overdue. when our waiter releases the teller, I say we have ordered three items and all three were overcrowded and his answer was "I have a discount on their bill that I did not kidnap them, it was 15%! a wobble $2.25 He took our bill for eating that we could not and did not eat! do not wash their purse for this purpose! the fact that they do not care whether they get their order right or not, is bad enough, but that they then expect to pay for it is just adding the insult to injuries. fyi: when we overheard the gentleman with his second steak, we said it was overcooked again! and we checked. that is her regular cook, not someone new.
We ate outside on the patio with a view of the Conestoga Golf Course. We had the 1800 and American burger with potato wedges. We also had the fried green bean appetizer with ranch. It was all great and the burgers were cooked to our exact specifications!
American restaurant located in local golf course, about 3 miles from I-15.They serving standard American food, very good one at that.I had 1880 hamburger. They asked me how well meat should be, which is always weird to me since in my book burger must be well done, but I digress. My wife had chicken wrap which per her was great. They serving sandwich with big pickle and small sweet pickle. You taste cinnamon in it. Very strange, but not bad. Just strange. First time for me.Certainly good place to stop for lunch or dinner.
We stopped here after spending time at valley of fire, catching a late lunch at sunset. We were promptly seated and meet by friendly staff. Had kielbasa and sauerkraut with potato wedges, a tasty chicken Thai plate, and glass of wine. It was worth the few extra minutes off the highway.
Clean, great service, comfort foods and golf course pioneer foods.
