Cafe Joplin - Mérida

I loved this little cafe. The owner was our waitress and she couldn't have been sweeter and was such a quirky interesting person. The food is Armenian or from the caucuses but they translated it as caucasian food? The cheese stuffed eggplant with pomergraniants was amazing! The note about Spanish children being respectful in restaurants was so funny loved it! The decorations of musicians from Kurt Coban to Led Zepplin were great!! Nice mixture of locals and tourists,

Armenian kitchen is not what you are expecting to meet in the heart of Extremadura. Warm accommodation and very very tasty food. Highly recommended for everyone who visits Merida!

Unexpected but nice surprise. Friendly staff. Tapas were original and tasteful. And for dessert yummy pies and meregue, the speciality. Very recommendable. The only downside is that it's mandatory to get there by foot, as you can't park in the narrow streets surrounding it.

Diferente y espectacular comida recomiendo a todos probar el tolma, pero especialmente los postres que son exquisitos. El cocinero merece un 20, así como la atención del ani. Voy a conseguir la tarjeta de socio.
