Sweeps Cafe At Sootys Plants

My wife and I visited the garden centre restaurant today for a spot of lunch. We arrived at 12 noon just before things got to busy. Found a table and where able to order within a couple of minutes upon arrival. By 12-30 no sign of any meal or even drinks that were ordered By this time all around use tables had also been occupied and food ordered and also served. Having an appointment to keep we had no choice other than leave after wasting forty minutes sitting at was an invisible table. After being a regularly customer for many years probably will not risk a return visit.

What a great find. Only called on for a brew and a cake but the food served and garden centre looked fabulous. The cakes are to die for ...... chocolate fudge cake with a good quality ice cream ..... heaven!! When going to southport will definitely make this a regular stop off.

What a great garden centre! I initially thought it was a small place because the visible frontage gave that impression but once inside it was huge and extended over a large area. There were a good range of healthy looking plants and I found packets of seeds in their range that I hadn't seen at any other garden centre. The staff were lovely and friendly. The cafe prices looked very reasonable but we'd already eaten on this occasion so will try there next time we visit

Nice garden centre, very competitive. Disappointed with food from Cafe. Duck VERY chewy. Chips scrappy. Unfortunately customer service poor.

Went for breakfast. Lovely but could have been hotter. Went early, tables dirty. Staff behind counter were drinking, touching hair and serving g food. I didn't see any hand washing.
