Tom's Country Cafe - Mercer

It is very good! By the way the Cinnamon rolls are huge! The person who runs it is very good at her job and was very nice. I would eat there if I were you.The place is very clean and they change the items on the menu every year. It is just wonderful!

The breakfast is awesome along with the service. The farmer's omelette is the bomb

Would not serve my family because my mother is and looks too Indian. I would give them a negative star if I could

Had a late lunch there on Saturday 10/9/21. Food was good. I had a grilled chicken breast sandwich and my wife had a bowl of chili. She thought it could have been spicier. She brings her own crushed dried red peppers in her purse and seasons her chilis/soups to her liking. Reasonable prices, and good/friendly staff. We sat at the counter. Got some of the local gossip from the waitresses. All good, slightly tongue in cheek funny. They don 't take plastic, so bring cash. This dinner has been a staple in Mercer for decades. I 'm pushing 70 and I 've been in here with my Grandfather in the 50 's! It used to be called The Sugar Bowl . This dinner , The Wampum Shop , and the Heart of The North tavern are the staple businesses that hold the town together. I 've been to Mercer many, many times. I love Mercer! I have lots of great memories. Mercer is the real Way Up North in Wisconsin!
