Westy's - Memphis

What an absolutely unique gym in Memphis on the northside. Don’t be fooled by the exterior the interior is awesome and filled with eclectic art pieces and memorabilia from the years. The menu is super extensive and to be honest, very unbelievable that they carry that much different kinds of foods. I had the wings and they were real chicken wings not the cut off short versions but the big ones! The shrimp Poboy sandwich is fantastic. Extensive beer list as well. You cannot go wrong here.

Went to Westy’s on a Thursday night and had a great time. Food was delicious. Our server was awesome! Thank you! 4 Bone w/ beans, tots and slaw. Other is the Hamburger n tots.

This place is so weird and so wonderful, and as a tourist visiting Memphis for a few days, I am so happy to have found it. The menu is expansive, covering all sorts of odd cuisine — soul food, tamales, wild rice dishes, burgers, etc. There is a children’s menu with a great deal. And then the dessert! Jake’s Original Hot Fudge Pie is so damn perfect that I ordered a second, and I’ll just pretend my kid helped me eat most of it. How that brownie or whatever chocolate wonder sticks to the plate like that is a mystery I will not stop contemplating anytime soon.

The atmosphere was great the tamales were so so, the cheese burger was ok, the french dip was good but the service was great! The hot fudge cake was awesome!

This could be the top choice for dining in downtown. They offer a wide variety of options. I tried the bacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries, and I couldn't be happier. The service was quick, the food was excellent, and the staff was friendly. I’ll definitely be returning!
