The Duke of Wellington - Melbourne

This venue has a number of levels and different combinations of bar and seating areas. I was attending with a group for both drinks and dinner. Drinks are easily ordered using QR code and always arrived quite quickly after placing our order. Good selection of pub meals and all were well presented and enjoyed by the group I was with. Definitely recommend for an enjoyable night out.

The pub grub is always fresh and tasty at the Duke. Enjoyed the Pork chop this trip, a change from my usual chicken parmigiana, which is always excellent.

Great location for pub meal drinks before concert The Forum. Great outlook from rooftop bar. Relaxed feel with big screen TV's that don't dominate the vibe and still allow conversation. Quick and friendly service (Wed night). Classic pub meals reliably solid, linguine pasta better than pub standard, but pork chop disappointed.

We were so impressed with our recent experience at The Duke. We started on the roof top bar and when we asked to sit at a lower table, Ebony was more than accommodating and helped us to a table on a lower level, more suitable for children where we could watch the football. There was so hesitation to help. The service we received from Antonio was fantastic, fast and reliable. He was so friendly and nothing was a problem. The food was good, standard pub food. The steak was perfectly cooked and a decent size. The fish and chips, cheese burger and calamari were all nice too. Highly recommend, worth a visit.

We had a delicious dinner! The food was generous and beautifully presented. We particularly loved the heirloom tomato salad and the char-grilled swordfish. Every aspect of our experience was memorable... the warm welcome, attentive service, Charli's knowledge of the new menu and her recommendations, and a lovely conversation as we were leaving. The team is professional and genuine, and we would definitely return. Thanks for surprising and delighting us!
