Bidrage med feedbackBeef Bulgogi extremely disappointing. Smoked soy/garlic fried chicken was good. Not worth going back to.
I have ordered a few times from them for pickup since lockdown in Melbourne, the food quality is good with a reasonable portions. Its a homemade healthy style, will have to make a request on the food everytime I placed an order. Definitely its one of my top list of korean food
The taste of most dishes we tried is quite good but with so much competition around, this place would do better with more upmarket plating.
Have always wanted to try this place but the queue is always too long. So, last week, we finally ordered from Uber eats. I wasn’t well, so, I ordered the seafood tofu soup. Sufficient ingredient and flavourful, but perhaps just a tad too flavourful but that might be because my palette was looking for something simpler in flavours being sick and all. $44.50 for 2 which includes the $5 delivery fee.
Mook Ji Bar is Korean Restaurant tucked in the busy spot, Lonsdale Street Melbourne CBD. It is a humbly looking restaurant and doesn't look so promising from outside. Waitt!! You've got to try this one, this place is always full of people during peak hours (Queue, queue, queue). We were lucky because we didn't go during peak hour, we came there after peak hour. The ban chan was pretty nice, we loved the anchovies banchan. We kept asking them to refill the banchan and they served us with smile and gave it promptly. The customer staffs were nice and friendly. We went with a group of 3 and we ordered: Spicy soft tofu, seafood, whole egg and vegetable soup for $14.00 The spicy soft tofu, seafood looked very hot as you can see how red the color of the soup. Actually, it wasn't that hot, the taste was really good. The portion was generous and the overall taste was very balance. Chicken Bulgogi (chicken and vegetables marinated chilli sauce) with cheese $18.00. The portion was very generous and the marinated chicken with chilli sauce had a stunning taste. Chicken Bulgogi was perfectly cooked melted with cheese on top, the chicken was very tender and soft. The sauce wasn't too strong and overwhelming which was great. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. Definitely recommend this dish. Overall, we had a great time having lunch here. Good portion, reasonable price and very decent taste. You'll be spending around $12.00 $15.00 each person and surely your tummy would be so happy. We're happy to add this place in one of our favorite Korean restaurants.
