Jake's Crab Shack - Melbourne

Have eaten twice at jake since it is opened again. melissa is an excellent waitress! She made our orders right, brought beverage refills immediately, made sure that we were satisfied with our meals. big eat both paints: shrimp tacos with black bean rice the 1st time and crab dip afteros the 2nd time. friends had shrimp scampi, shrimp alfredo, Fish/Chips all 3 enjoyed their meal. we will often be back!

What a great and chill restaurant. Perfect for a night out or a quick bite to eat. Waitress was amazing and friendly and took our orders in a quick and professional manner. Food was amazing for the price I reccomend the Phillie cheese steak sandwich). Happy hour is always a must as you get cheaper drinks. All in all, very friendly and reliable service, great staff, great food and prices are extremely good. Would definitely come back and most definitely reccomend.

The staff was great. The seafood pot was SO over cooked, very disappointed. Even the stuffed mushrooms app came out seeming like thrice baked. The karaoke was a little too loud to hold a conversation. Not impressed, time your veggies and seafood to not overcook everything!

The wait time between our drink order and getting our menus was long (30 minutes). When we finally got the menu and ordered it was another 20 to 30 minutes. My fish n chip was so salty it was like eating a salt lick the French fries were cold, another member of our party ordered the same meal and thier fish was raw.our waiter was new but very nice and accommodating and apologized for the quality of the food and the long wait.Had to wait over 45 minutes after we were through with our meal to get our check only to find out it was wrong,was charged for items not ordered, only took two tries to get it straight. The only saving grace was the band that they had performing there they were wonderful.

Coastal trip from South Carolina to Vero beach stop to grab a bite. My husband had a Mahi sandwich ,I had the crab cake sandwich and calamari bites. Worse sea ir whatever you wanna call it. Waste of money. I do not recommend.
