I had the place to myself. I went early (around 6pm) and the meat was out of this world. It's not cheap,, but if you want home style servingsm, this is the place. Try the Picada!
Ordered a steak and a milanesa. The Milanesa was very disappointing, it was over-cooked and the coating had no flavour. The steak was ok, but the salad very was very small. For the price you are paying I would have expected better quality and bigger servings for the side dishes.
We were welcomed like people from home!!! The steak and burger were good and cooked well, which isn't always a trivial thing. During dinner we were accompanied by a different sound than usual and we liked that too, I'll leave you the images and then you'll understand. I can only recommend this place!!! Big surprise in an Argentinian restaurant. I ask if the meat is angus. Nobody knows this word. Finally I was told that the meat is from Colombia. It is also unclear what azul means for cooking. The meat arrived overcooked, much more than medium. For red wine, good news it is not put in the fridge, which most Colombian restaurants that show off ignore. Red wine should be stored in a cool place but not frozen because it loses its taste. Unfortunately if it wasn't ice cold it was almost lukewarm which isn't much better! Conclusion for much cheaper and much better take an Angus steak in the fillet at Carulla cook it for a minute on each side, you will have it blue and you will enjoy it. Now big question. :what can possibly give rise to the reputation of this very mediocre and misleading Argentinian restaurant? Well the garlic bread is delicious.
