Great Outdoor Sub Shop - McKinney

My sisters worked for this company years ago…they are tucked away so it’s hard to remember them when you need to….but their subs are classics. My favorite is the #5 on white. Their bread is insanely good and it makes the sandwich what it is! Freshly sliced premium meats and the freshest ingredients. Hope they stick around for many years to come!

First time coming here and I am blown away by the quality of the sandwiches. I had #12 and #15 and they were both excellent. I ate half of each one and by the end, I couldn't decide which one was best. I will definitely order these again. Hidden gem, y'all!

Superb sandwich!! I had the #12 Outdoorsman with all the works plus avocado and boyyyy was it incredibly fresh and delicious! The sandwich was huge and I was only able to eat half, but I’m already looking forward to the other half for dinner, lol. And add a chocolate chunk cookie while you’re at it-you won’t regret it!

This is my favorite Great Outdoors in the area, as well as my favorite sub shop! The staff is very efficient, patient but doesn't put up with bs, and WOW the food is good. Prices are pretty fair too, especially given the quality. 10/10 recommend!

I have loved the Great Outdoors since I first ate there in the downtown Dallas location. That was back in the 70's. My favorite sub shop. They make THE BEST SUBS!!
