Mandy's Convenience & Deli - Maylands

I came across this small deli by chance. It may not have a fancy appearance like some other stores, but that actually intrigued me. It ended up being a hidden gem.

The desserts at Mandy's are exceptional with a wide variety of choices. I have been going there for the past three years and always enjoy the food, drinks, and coffee. However, the interior could use some cleaning and updating. The greenery outside is a signature feature of Maylands, but it appears to be neglected and dirty. Despite these issues, the most important aspect, the food, is top-notch and deserving of a decent rating.

Frank and his family have been running this establishment for many years. What used to be a small convenience store for everyday items has transformed into a gourmet delicatessen. They offer a wide variety of homemade cakes and delicious coffee, including a special coffee and cake combo for under $4. This is the perfect place for lunch, a coffee break, or even a quick stop before heading out to fish. Frank also takes pride in maintaining a traditional family milk bar, making it one of the last of its kind in Perth. It's truly a great place to visit.
