Mr. Gregory - Massa Lubrense

Definitely the worst eating experience of our 2 week holiday. Sant' Agata has many great restaurants, unfortunately this Cafe isn't one of them. Welcome was friendly enough, but food was of poor quality, arrived at different times.....or not at all as my wife experienced, and very much with a deep fried look to it. The seafood presented to one of our party had most of the shells either closed shouldn't be served)....or empty see other Google Reviews) we can't all be wrong. Our complaint was addressed by a guy who runs a popular Pizzeria further down the road who eventually turned up.......stick to cooking pizzas would be my advice.

We visited here one evening in San Agata but were quite disappointed. We had planned to eat here, and so ordered a bottle of wine, and a baby octopus and grilled vegetables to start. The wine was very nice, although there was quite a bit of sediment in it. The starters came and the grilled vegetables looked charred as if they had been grilled, but were cold which made us wonder when they were grilled…? The octopus came in a tomato fish sauce, which didn’t taste fresh, and the dish itself seemed like it was microwaved. The texture wasn’t good, and so we didn’t eat very much at all. We decided to skip mains and go somewhere else because we were quite disappointed. The restaurant does have a lovely outside area and the staff were very friendly, but the food did let it down unfortunately.

Visiting the village and chose to eat here. There is a pleasant garden to eat your meal in. Reasonably priced. They didn't have the pizza oven fired up though. Maybe too early in the season.

Visited the restaurant one evening, service was great and very fast. We ordered bruschetta to start which was really nice and a large portion, I had ravioli to follow which was really good. Recent reviews seemed harsh, we enjoyed our meal and would visit again.

Terrible experience, food came 1 hour 10 minutes after we ordered and stray dog caused problems all night which the staff ignored for majority of it apart from when they were hitting it with a stick, staff weren’t very pleasant either, definitely wouldn’t recommend nor will we be back.
