Perkins Bakery - Marshalltown

EDITED 5-7-24 Last time we eat at Perkins. Waited an hour and didn't get our food.... this is outrageous! We have been there before and no problem! Poor management.

I really like this place, the only thing that never changes is the cleanliness. It is always dirty. They should keep it cleaner because it is a restaurant where food is served. Breakfast time or the busiest times should never be an excuse for cleaning places where food is served. meal.

I rate this place as a high 5 based on my 1st and only experience. We were greeted right away and seated. Our drink order was placed right away. I enjoyed my coffee with creamers that were already available on our table. My friends carbonated drink did not taste right to her, and they willing allowed her to change drinks. I ordered a Chicken Ranchero Salad and a banana nut muffin. This salad is a meal. I was not very hungry, so I took a couple of bites of the various ingredients on the salad plate and asked the waitress to package the remainder of the food for me, which she did. The chicken was marinated in spices and was delicious. I finished the food for breakfast the next day. Everything was still fresh and delicious. ?The waitress was consistently available and attentive to us with a professional attitude and disposition. I enjoyed the experience.

This restaurant is good for comfort food, such as chicken fried steak.

Food is always good, it's a chain restaurant. The service was exemplary, which was awesome!
