Bidrage med feedbackAbsolutely incredible anniversary experience!! The Chef's Counter is a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion. Everything was beyond expectations. Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating with dietary restrictions/preferences.
I 'm neither a food blogger or a food critic, just a regular average guy.I 've eaten MREs in the field with expired food to 200$ dry aged ribeyes at renown steakhouses. We travel to all corners of the US and this weekend we stumbled upon this establishment.Food: this place takes pride in their farm to table concept where all the ingredients are locally sourced. Love the values, but the food is average, had the hanger steak, with chimichurri and potatoes. The dish was played very artistically, but my eyes can 't taste. The dish seasonings is plain. To be painfully honest, artistically plated dishes is not worth 48$The 2 kids had basically grilled cheese and a chicken thigh and leg. No complaints asides the bed of lettuce the chicken came in. Kids don 't care for that. If yall going to charge 15$ for the kids meal, give them the other leg too. Had to stop at mcdonalds. 15$ for 1 cut potato and a quarter of a chicken.Atmosphere: atmosphere was great, been thru tons of these themed restaurants, this one felt very authentic. The cabanas are a very unique concept post covid. It makes dining a more personal and private experience.Service: service was lacking. Very surface level. With a high priced dining experience, the servers play a big role and not just run food. The girl didn 't introduce herself, no sense of connection to our table. I felt more valued at chilfila with their cashiers. Rarely saw her. Refiled the drinks once. And vanished the rest of the night. No upsell of the menu whatsoever. Asked how the hanger steak is it 's a shoulder cut, its very good , no upsell, no nothing. Upon leaving, not even a goodbye nor thank you.TLDR: this place gave a very locals only vibe . Not tourist friendly. Definitely amazing spot for anniversaries or celebrations, as a family of 4 with 2 toddlers, not worth going out of your way to dine here. Drive down 10 mins more and go to chikfilA or support the diner nearby. If you want fancy dining with more of an experience for the price, take the time to go to DC. We had more love in the heart of Vegas at the Ceasars with hundreds of guests than this place who had maybe 20 tables max. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly
We are in one of the standalone cabanas. Everything was amazing. I had the hanger steak, done perfectly. We finished our meal with their signature hot chocolate.
