To whom it concerns:I was there in November and the name is "The mad italians" I don't know why here on tripadvisor it has a different name, but the location is the one of "the mad italians"Please rename the restaurant name. From the comments someone talked about the half meter pizza, that is why I am pretty sure it is the same restaurant to which I went.According to Tripadvisor there is a restaurant called "the mad italian" (without the s in the end) in the north of Sydney. Note that this is not the same as this one located in Maroubra. I don't know the other one.You can order a really big rectangle pizza combining 2 types of choice from the pizza menu card. It is delicious and not expensive. They also have good house wine.About the service I once came with my girlfriend directly from work. We were able to first order, go home to get dressed and come back to get our meal. The staff was perfectly fine with that and also in general the service is great!

We have been looking for a good local pizza restaurant for a long time and this is hands down the best one i have found in Maroubra to date ! actually anywhere in the eastern suburbs really ! i wish i had of found this place earlier.

Good if want to try something local but wouldn't drive out of my way to go. Pizza was pretty average and the chef's salad just had balsamic glaze with no oil.

Had dinner here last night with a friend. Had a voucher from Groupon which was dinner for 2. Pizza was lovely 1/2 meter long unable to eat it all. Desert was like a deep fried donut dipped in chocolate was just nice wasn't over powering. Will re-visit in the new year.

Very fresh high quality Italian food. We enjoyed the meter long pizza and some pasta dishes. Small venue with great personalised service by vibrant staff.
