Bidrage med feedbackHave not visited this place in 10 years. It's just as I remembered it with the tiniest wings known to man. I feel sorry for the tiny baby chicks that were killed to provide these wings. They should have let them grow into real chickens. Not worth anything near 99 cents each especially since they didn't even come with fries On a positive note the wings weren't horrible Here's a photo of the tiny bones of 10 wings.
I'm used to eating larger wings, and these are medium size, but you can't deny the extra crispy nicely seasoned and cooked fresh not frozen wings they serve here. There's lots of choices of sauce flavors and heat levels as well, and they're not dripping with the sauce either sitting in a pool of it on your plate. What I found unique in this area, is I was told that wing places menu fried rice! You have to try it here, because besides my own homemade, this fried rice is absolutely delicious! The fried shrimp are a really nice size, and super crispy for a light batter. There's a nice selection of beer too, and last but not least, the restaurant staff is attentive and downright great! Don't pay any mind to the lousy reviews of years gone by. These are new owners who have retained the recipes, and know how to prepare them.
Not sure why there are so many poor reviews on this place but I went for lunch on a rainy Saturday and the wings are so good! Yes, they are tiny as other reviewers have stated BUT they are perfectly crispy and the sauce is yum. We ordered 10 wings (hot lemon pepper and onion rings. I liked how the wings weren't over saucy. I def will be back when I'm in the area! Also, don't judge this place from the outside or even the inside. It's old and divey, BUT The wings are really good! ANd for my mamas out there, I wish the ladies bathroom had a baby changing table but there isn't so plan accordingly (change in the car :
First time here and definitely not my last. Service was great and food was delicious! Very clean and friendly environment.
Business has survived 30 years in some kind of time capsule. It's a cozy full service restaurant with beer. They have the best wings! The wing sauce is unique and home made, along with their blue cheese dressing. The wings are not tiny but medium and are crispy and tangy. They don't have hundreds of flavors but what they have is simple and delicious. You get a choice of mild, med, hot, teriyaki, lemon pepper and BBQ. My favorite is mild lemon pepper and hot teriyaki mixed. It's just an excellent combination of flavors. The fried rice is made to order and it has the flame flavor of the wok. It's delicious. I definitely recommend trying the wings
