Dj’s Taphouse - Manteca

I was down in Manteca for the preview opening of the Faulkner's Custom Rods and American Iron show at the Sportsman's Pavilion, and passed by Dj's Restaurant Taphouse...Well, I've always wanted to go there, and I had some extra time so I bounced the truck over a couple of road dividers and pulled into Dj's like I owned it. I had Hubcap Bob with me because he's got his slammed 55 Roadmaster ragtop and his 36 knucklehead in the show, and they're already set up, so he says..it's burger time! Keeping with the theme... We got custom burgers built on the cheesesteak rolls and rings. They were Amazing! 5 stars

Went to this restaurant with my granddaughter for lunch. The host who seated us was pleasant but our waitress was not very personable. She never said her name when she came to our table and not once did she ever smile during the time we were there. We did enjoy our food and drinks. After the waitress returned with our bill and I proceeded to pay, I noticed when she took my payment that I didn't see where I was supposed to add a tip. I informed the waitress that I didn't see where I was supposed to add the tip and she informed me that it was automatically added. Hmmmm since when is this the thing to do? There were only 2 of us in our party, not 10. I had all intentions on leaving a tip and it was in line with the suggested tip amount that is referenced on the bill but I'm not sure if the waitress made the decision to add more than the suggested amount to my final bill or what. She definitely didn't deserve more than the minimum suggested amount. I'm chalking it up to a lesson learned and will definitely make sure I pay more attention next time. Kid-friendliness: n/a

Flat Grilled Sienna Steak and BBQ ribs with Coleslaw. Nice atmosphere and great service. Booth or tall chair seating option. Plenty of parking.

Honestly Djs is not worth it. I suggest going somewhere else. Foods pretty expensive, small portions and not the best quality. The vibes were very off too. Plenty of better options around the area.
