Este restaurante está ubicado en la carretera que va de Ferrol a Viveiro, en las afueras del pueblo de O Barqueiro. Es una casa de dos o tres plantas, con el bar restaurante en la planta baja y habitaciones en la planta superior, ya que el establecimiento también cuenta con un hostal de 2 estrellas. La decoración es sencilla, un poco rústica, y no se permite fumar ya que no hay zonas diferenciadas. Al entrar al comedor, llama la atención una pecera con mariscos vivos, incluido un enorme bogavante. La carta es variada, siempre basada en cocina tradicional y casera. Almuerzan menú del día. Para cenar, pedimos varias raciones para compartir: pulpo, chipirones encebollados (que esperaba en su tinta, pero estaban fritos) y raxo (que no sabía lo que era: son trozos de cerdo adobados, como pinchos morunos). Todo estaba delicioso y las raciones eran abundantes. El servicio fue atento y rápido, y el precio me pareció correcto, recordando que pagamos unos 40€ en total, incluyendo una botella de vino.

We asked for dinner several rations to share: octopus, chiirones encebollados (that I imagined them in their ink, but they were fried) and raxo (that I did not know what it was: they are slices of pig cut, like the puny moron). everything was very good, and the rations were very abundant the agreement was also attentive and fast, and the price seemed correct, I think I remember that we paid about 40€ in total, including a bottle of wine.

Homemade food, good fish, affordable prices. very attentive staff. I recommend it.
